An anime television series adaptation by studio David Production was announced on November 14, 2018.[14] The series was directed by Yuki Yase, with Gakuto Haijima handling the series' scripts, Hideyuki Morioka designing the characters and Kenichiro Suehiro composing the music.[15] The series aired from July 6 to December 28, 2019 on MBS and TBS as part of the Super Animeism block.[16][17] It ran for 24 episodes.[18] Due to the Kyoto Animation arson attack on July 18, 2019, Episode 3, which was originally scheduled to air on July 19, 2019, was postponed to July 26, 2019.[19][20] The first opening theme is "Inferno"[Jp. 2] by Mrs. Green Apple and the first ending theme is "veil" by Keina Suda.[21][22] The second opening theme is "MAYDAY" by Coldrain feat. Ryo from Crystal Lake from their album The Side Effects and the second ending is "Nо̄nai" by Lenny code fiction.[23][24]
A second season was announced in December 2019,[25] and it aired from July 4 to December 12, 2020.[26] In May 2020, a promotional video for the second season was released. The second season was directed by Tatsuma Minamikawa (replacing Yuki Yase from the previous season). The second season ran for 24 episodes.[27] The first opening theme is "SPARK-AGAIN", performed by Aimer,[28] while the first ending theme is "ID", performed by Cider Girl.[29] The second opening theme is "Torch of Liberty", performed by Kana-Boon, while the second ending theme is "Desire", performed by Pelican Fanclub.[30][31]
Now talking about the 8th Company that is the main focus in the first two episodes. I love the leader as he is just an amazing person. When finding out his goal in the series I was just happy for the captain. The Lieutenant of the 8th company is someone that I am really interested in for the future. As he is a cold strict guy. But, he is caring for his teammates hopefully.
Now I can finally talk about Tamaki as she is just has a power that rivals the great Rito from To Love Ru. As she has some ability that can rival the heavens and earth themselves. As she is the ultimate fanseveire character in the history of fanservice. Tell me how in the end of episode 9, you fall backwards and still go forward to Shinra chest in face and all. Also how the hell does Authur grab mayo and somehow grabs you. Finally HOW THE HELL DO YOU NOT REPORT A BOOB GRAB UNDER THE BIKINI.
Welp, that was a lot of writing for a lot of episodes. But, I enjoy this show that much so I am really dumbfounded on why put on hold for a minute. One of the things that I liked about Soul Eater was its ability to balance short-term plot arcs with long-term plot arcs.
